Our Story...

Welcome to The Lost Dutchman Event Center, also known as The Pavilion; an integral part of the Lost Dutchman Resort, located in the heart of Teller County. With roots tracing back to the late 1940s when Baron Frederick Von Schleinitz, an immigrant from Europe, founded the Trout Haven Resort. Over the decades, this charming property has transformed, initially flourishing with fishing and camping opportunities, and becoming a beloved destination for families and outdoor enthusiasts.

In the 1990s, PK Enterprises, Inc. acquired the resort and rebranded it as the Lost Dutchman Resort, continuing the legacy of providing a unique private camping and fishing experience. In 1997, they proudly opened The Pavilion, a state-of-the-art event center that has since become a sought-after venue for a variety of gatherings, from weddings to corporate events. Today, the event center hosts memorable events and provides natural beauty and recreational opportunities of our remarkable property.
